Many of us plan to keep our blogs till high school and continue writing to the world. But many of us also plan to stop writing blogs, and for me, I plan on just that. I had a lot of fun writing blogs, when I first came into Mr.Mayo’s class in 2nd quarter. I’ve wrote about many meaningful topics, and some really silly ones. But I’ve experinced a comfort in writing and learned my weaknesses and my strengths. Not continuing to write more blogs has to do with time. I work really hard on my blogs, so it takes a very long time to write. I would never have the time to write and work on my art pieces, which is my other passion. But I do plan on writing a brand new blog one day, when I can manage my time wisely, which is still one of my weaknesses. So sorry to those readers, and thank you for reading my blogs.

She was introduced to blogs, and the amount of writing she did grew.

She didn’t know that the more she wrote, the more she knew.

She felt really strong about her writing and felt on top of the world.

She had become a better writer and she became a new girl.

Her passion grew and she became really smart.

It helped a lot to write songs, and enhanced her vocab.

Writng opened her eyes into a window to see.

I walk home with my twin sister, we kinda have a schedule planned the same for everyday. We always have this plan because I have two, very crazy dogs, and if you don’t have a plan then you’re practically blown. We’ll what we do is take Kyra (younger, female puppy, Australian Shepard, Collie, and Border Collie mix) out of the cage, and Hiro (bigger, male puppy, German Shepard Mix) out on a leash. I would be lucky if it were my shift to walk Kyra, because she doesn’t pull. Hiro is a way different story, he’s a very big puppy so when he pulls, you’re down. Some days I’m pulled because a he sees a bird, people, cars, caterpillars, cats, Kyra, and most of all SQUIRRELS! Kyra is good most of the time. We walk them around the block, not too long, sometimes half way if we are lazy. Some days we walk to my friends house but other days we just go home. When we get home we give the dogs water, and may be even a treat. Then I go find something to eat, most likely something my mom left me and sister. When we are done eating, we take a short nap or use the computer. Then Hiro and Kyra start fighting, we stop them, and they do it again, and again. It gets late I start doing some homework, I don’t usually get a lot. Soon later my brother returns home from work, the dogs go crazy, they jump and bark. My evening started with crazy dogs and ends with crazy dogs, seriously no time for myself.

In the first scene Duke Frederick bans Duke Senior to the Forest of Arden, because he wanted all his brothers powers. Duke Frederick tries to banish Duke Senior’s daughter too, who is Rosalind. Cecilia Refused to let her father banish Rosalind, because she is her cousin and her best friend. While that is happening Orlando the younger brother of Oliver (both are the son Sir Rowland De’boy) are in an argument. Orlando is hard-headed and cocky so he gets himself into a wrestling match. Oliver doesn’t care if Orlando gets in wrestling match with the strongest wrestler, because he never did like his brother. On the day of the wrestling match Cecilia and Rosalind went to watch the match between the famous wrestler and Orlando. When Rosalind and Orlando caught each others eye it was love at first sight. Orlando did end up winning the match, as well. Rosalind and Cecilia went home, with the fear that they will be separated. So Rosalind comes up with an idea to dress in disguise. Rosalind changed her identity to a man named Ganymede, and Cecilia changed hers too. Together with touchstone, their entertainer, they run away to the Forest of Arden. At the same time, Orlando starts to grow weary of his brother Oliver, so he runs away to the Forest of Arden with his old servant, Adam. Orlando arrived at the forest way before Rosalind, Touchstone, and Cecilia, and he can’t stop thinking about Rosalind. He starts to write poetry about her on the tree. In the morning when Duke Frederick found out his daughter, Cecilia disappeared, he ordered his guards to haunt down Orlando. He told them that because he felt Orlando had something to do with it, since he ran away at the same time at the same place. Soon after Orlando runs into Rosalind, thinking she is a man named Ganymede. Rosalind started to test him about his love for her, and Orlando tells about his deep love for her. Rosalind (Ganymede) tells Orlando to call him Rosalind from now on, and that he will cure him of being lovesick.

Before the rays of sunshine, she is already awake
Making her family breakfast, and lunch for our sake
She heads to the work on the metro bus
Almost feels like quiting, but she knows she mustn’t,
So she doesn’t

Some days, she comes home, and sees mess
Some days, it’s better, than the best
She doesn’t ask for much, she’s very humble
Although she works hard, she still tumbles

I know she’s become really strong
Because she fixes all the wrongs
She does everything a good mom could
If I had time everyday to say, “I love you” I would

When I am older and wiser, I will think of my mother
She’s been my angel, my protector, and my fighter
I will do as she does, in the aspects of love
That’s because she loves like my creator above

I felt this poem was one of hope, and that’s exactly what’s explained. It speaks about carelessly soaring through the sky, with the beautiful sounds of birds and wind. It shows the peace someone can have inside, by comparing it to the idea of flying. I would like to give kudos to Suzannah T, a 7th grader in The Lovett School.

After reading issue #2 of Space I’ve seen many interesting pieces of art, poetry, music, and lots more. But the one entitled ‘Daughter Nature’ interested me the most. The painting is by Lindsea, who is a 11th grader in Hawaii. She’s an amazing artist and an amazing writer. She has several other pieces of art on Space, including ‘Waking Up‘ done with color pastel and photo shop and ‘What’?.
‘Daugther Nature’ is of a silhouette of a women with long stems and flowers as hair. This painting is very original and creative, and what I liked most was the background color she choose which is fiery red. The painting really speaks out making a sort of hopeful mood. It really comes to show how creative, artistic, and talented she is.

Looking at the comments I thought that everyone did an excellent job on writing well thought out paragraphs. One of my favorite comments was by Leah B.. This one is my favorite because I agree on their concerns regarding the troops and our global responsibility. Many other people wrote one that I found very interesting and because of that it made the International Darfur day very successful. The amount of comments we got will raise awareness and make a difference for the life of the people in Darfur.

It is our global responsibility to prevent Genocide in

Darfur, Sudan. This has been the longest genocide of the twenty-first century, and has been going on since 2003. But it is our responsibility to watch over our fellow countries, which is called Global Responsibility. Today

Darfur is in ruins, towns are destroyed, markets are burned, many civilians are dead or close to death, but it could have been stopped and still can be.

The persecutors, called the janjaweed, are the cause of the thousand of deaths. We need to stop the janjaweed from going around the villages and killing the men, raping the women and most importantly taking the innocence of our youth. Janjaweed are responsible for over 200,000 killings in Darfur, and forcing 45,000 people to flee to

Chad, the neighboring country. The people of

Darfur need our help, and it is our responsibility to help them. We have already started doing our job by creating blogs and researching websites, all to help raise awareness about the situation in

Darfur. The most effective thing we did at our school is sell green wristband, labeled “Save Darfur” and “Not on our watch.” The money we raised was sent to help the people of

Darfur. Also we write blogs on our websites about current updates on

Darfur. The amount of readers that blogs get will increase each week and raise more awareness. The Awareness about the Genocide happening in

Darfur will increase, and as a result people will start taking action. Raising awareness will help us to get to our main goal.

Our main goal is to pressure the rebel groups to cease all attacks on the people of

Darfur, and hopefully come to an effective solution for them. Most importantly, we should ensure that the United Nations and African Union mission have the tools that they need to stop the Genocide in

Darfur. It’s important to remember that preventing Genocide is our global responsibility; we have to keep the world at peace and make that our most significant commitment. We cannot allow this to happen, so we must do all that we can to help stop the Genocide in

Darfur.
